EST 1985
Minigim was established in 1985 under the guidance of former Springbok gymnast, Michelle Haasbroek, dedicated to nurturing young gymnasts in South Africa.
Our Story
The club's journey began at the Mat Sport Centre in Centurion. After relocating to Wonderboom, we continued to inspire students at Flaurana Academy for over 15 years and at Bambolini Nursery for more than 20 years.
In 1992, we expanded to Laerskool Lynnwood, where we have proudly offered Minigim classes for both pre- and primary school learners. As we enter our 33rd year in 2025, our classes continue to be a staple in the school's offerings.
In 2004, our dedicated gymnasium was built by Danie Haasbroek in Wonderboom (Annlin) in Pretoria, that has since provided space for gymnasts to train after school. Beginning in 2025, we are thrilled to extend our Minigim classes to new locations at Woelige Wonnies (Wonderboom Laerskool) , where we will continue fostering a love for gymnastics in young athletes
